Minor Illness Clinics (for acute problems)

As an alternative to seeing the doctor, our nurses run a daily Minor Illness Clinic. This frees up time for the GPs to deal with more complex clinical matters.

The Minor Illness Clinic can be used for the following problems:

  • coughs
  • colds
  • ear problems
  • eye problems
  • emergency contraception
  • vaginal discharge
  • constipation
  • diarrhoea and vomiting,
  • back pain,
  • skin problems,
  • minor injuries,
  • asthma
  • urine infections
